At AU-Patioslife, we are committed to delivering quality, durable outdoor products that our customers can rely on. All eligible umbrellas and umbrella-related products purchased through our store are covered by our limited 5-year warranty, providing added assurance with your purchase.


What Our Warranty Covers

This warranty applies to the following components under normal residential use:

  • Umbrella frames and hardware

  • Canopy fabric and stitching

  • Accessories (such as rotating mechanisms, crank handles, or LED components)

If any of the above components are found to be defective in materials or workmanship within 5 years of the purchase date, we will repair or replace the defective parts at no cost to you (excluding any applicable shipping fees, if necessary).


What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Misuse, abuse, or improper installation or handling

  • Neglect, including failure to close the umbrella during strong wind, rain, or storms

  • Improper storage, such as storing the product when wet or without adequate cover

  • Damage due to extreme weather events (e.g. high winds, hail, or cyclones)

  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications

  • Commercial or non-residential use, unless otherwise agreed in writing


How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim, please contact us at support@patioslife.au with the following:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos or videos showing the defect or damage

Once received, our customer service team will assess your claim within 2–5 business days and guide you through the next steps.


Warranty Period

The warranty is valid for 5 years from the date of original purchase.

Depending on the nature of the defect, we may choose to:

  • Provide replacement parts

  • Offer a replacement product (if a repair is not feasible)

  • Issue a store credit (if the product is no longer available)

Shipping fees may apply for certain replacement parts depending on your location and the circumstances of the claim.


Limitations and Consumer Rights

This warranty is offered in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our warranty does not exclude or limit your statutory rights, including:

“You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.”

This warranty is provided in lieu of all other express or implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
