Installation & Assembly

• Assembly: Self-assembly

• Fixing Type: Ground-mounted with M10 × 100mm stainless steel masonry anchors (DynaBolts equivalent, included).

• Installation Requirement: We recommend securing the pergola onto a flat concrete slab, or setting the posts into concrete footings, especially when the structure height reaches 2800mm.

• Recommended Installers: A minimum of 3 people is required throughout installation, with at least 2 people needed to safely lift and carry the components from the packaging.

Please Note: This is a general-version manual. Specific installation details such as drainage direction may vary according to your approved order specifications — please review your order details before assembly, and re-read this manual fully before starting.

Before You Begin

1. Unpacking: Check all parts against the packing list before starting. Do not discard any packaging materials until installation is fully complete, in case parts need to be checked or exchanged.

2. Surface Protection: Assemble the frame on a soft covering (e.g., carpet or flattened cardboard) to protect the metal profiles from scratching.

3. Protective Film: Fully remove the protective film from all components during installation. Once exposed to the sun outdoors, the film becomes very difficult to remove.

4. Warranty & Compliance: Do not modify the product or substitute non-original accessories, as this will void your warranty. Patioslife is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect assembly.

Tools & Materials Required

Installation tools and silicone sealant should be purchased locally:

• Silicone sealant (for weather-sealing the post caps)

• Impact drill with a 12mm masonry drill bit (drilling depth for anchor bolts: 100mm)

• Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver bit

• 4mm Allen key and a 16mm spanner

• Steel hammer and rubber mallet

• Tape measure, spirit level, and marker pen

• Step ladder and safety helmet

Function Testing

Before completing final assembly, test the hand-crank mechanism by rotating the louvres fully open and closed. If the louvres turn smoothly, continue to the remaining steps. If not, recheck the connection bar and mechanical arm installation before proceeding — this ensures your pergola's manual louvre system operates correctly from day one.

Maintenance & Care

• Clean the surface at least once a year to preserve the powder-coated finish.

• Use only a soft sponge or non-abrasive cloth. Avoid rags, abrasive cleaning pads, wire wool, or coloured cloths.

• Do not use acidic or alkaline cleaning products. Rinse with neutral-pH clean water and wipe dry.

• If using a pressure washer, keep a safe distance and use an appropriate nozzle, water temperature, and pressure.

• Check all screws for tightness after installation, and re-check at least once a year.

• Regularly inspect seals for leaks, and clear leaves and debris from the gutters to keep drainage channels clear.

Warranty Exclusions: While the drainage system is designed to be effective, it cannot guarantee complete waterproofing in extreme conditions. Damage from severe storms, cyclones, hail, or bushfire ember exposure is not covered under warranty.
